Re-Grow Lettuce

B came home with a $6 lettuce...(frown)....Well I'm keeping that I said....

A few days later I chopped the thing straight across and put it in water....

I eat lettuce more than anyone else in the family...so a few leaves here and there...makes this worth doing for me....

Really works, you know....

You can see it growing every day...amazing.....

It will go in a pot....and will be indoors over winter....

I have done this with celery and spring onion too :) ...
