Re-grow Spring Onion

When you have a heap of gorgeous spring onion home grown by your mate (Thanks Rah!)....and you've eaten plenty...but thinking about the future and you want more......

Chop the greenery off, slice and freeze


Pop the white stalks into water and put on the window sill. You can see in the photo below where all the green growth has budded/grown/happened from where the white stalks were chopped.

Four days later

Into the garden they go xxx... (Autumn happening)

Put them where you want to discourage pesky, buggy garden food stealers.

Use outer leaves first when you gather

They get big quick and you harvest them again xxx...
